Elton John and Billy Joel

This is the screen we viewed the concert from. The carmera man did an excellent job in giving us good shots of Elton and Billy.
Elton was flamboyant in his outfit, he had a design all in rhinestone on the back of his jacket, his glasses had "EJ" in diamonds on both corners

This is the stage from our view, we had corner seats, but it was awesome, we could see better than those that had a straight on view. They each had their own bands, they are all at the back. You can see their piano's facing each other. There was also lighting effects with each song, that was as much fun to watch as it was to listen.

After his costume change he was sporting red glasses to match the red shoes and the rhinestone design on the back of his coat.

I bought Robert tickets to their concert last year for his birthday, we were scheduled to go Nov. 19th, 2009, but that day it was rescheduled due to Elton John being sick. Last night exactly 3 months later we were entertained for almost 3 1/2 hours. The music was all the songs they are known for, they came out after their piano's came up on risers from the floor. They performed about 4 songs together, then Billy Joel left and Elton John performed for about 1 hr. When he was done Billy Joel came and and Elton left, Billy performed for an 1, then they performed another 4-5 songs together. They ended with "Piano Man and Rocket Man". The energy there was amazing, Robert & I were in awe of the front row they were all under 30 years old and singing and dancing to every song. We haven't been to a lot of concerts, but this was one of the best that we've ever been too. Our ears where still ringing when we went to bed, but it was worth every minute we sat there.
