The Bald Eagle
Yesterday we took our family including Jesse and the grandchildren out to Farmington Bay to watch the Bald Eagle. Whitney had to work so she wasn't able to come with us. We saw the eagle above in one of their bldgs., this eagle was rescued with a broken left wing. So he won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Randi was in awe of this eagle, he never once was bothered by the noise of people around. The Bald Eagle is a beautiful bird, we did get to see through bonoculars the bald eagle from a distance, sitting out on the frozen pond, there was about 6 of them. They hang around Farmington bay to eat and then head to the mountains to nest. Other than the rain which created mud, it was an interesting experience.
